Do you spend every Friday the 13th standing in a circle of salt to keep evil spirits at bay? If you don't, here are some facts to get you nice and paranoid in no time!

Friday the 13th fears can be traced back to many religious systems, mythology and folklore.The actual fear of Friday the 13th is largely undocumented until the 19th century, making some of the connections and connotations the fear shares with events in history that much more disturbing.

Even though there is Good Friday and Friday is the first day of the weekend, people are still afraid of Friday all over the world, be it the 13th or not...

The number 13 is often thought of as one more than complete, as there are 12 months in a year, 12 in a dozen, 12 hours on a clock, 12 zodiac signs, while in numerology, the number 13 means death and is a number of Karmic debt, i.e.bad, bad luck, folks.
